A Few Words of Welcome
The Way of the Sword (strategy) offers everyone, regardless of age or gender, an opportunity to gain a new perspective on life and discover greater personal depth.
Practicing martial arts embraces both physical mastery and a meditative dimension, rooted in the true spirit of samurai philosophy.
Because modern life can easily pull us away from ourselves and from harmony with nature, our training sessions take place primarily outdoors, aligned with the rhythm of the seasons – just as traditional samurai practiced. Our gatherings focus on mastering techniques with sharp blades (shinken) as well as contact practice using training swords.
Beyond the way of the sword, we actively cultivate Japanese culture, Asian arts, and traditional aesthetics, including the art of Taiko drumming.
Our Activities
We host swordsmanship gatherings focused on martial arts that reflect our deep interest in feudal Japan and its rich culture. Furthermore, we represent our dojo at Taikai (swordsmanship competitions) supported by the All-Czech Gekikenjutsu Federation, and actively participate in events such as the Samurai Procession, the Hanami Festival in Prague, as well as various other large gatherings and intimate community events.
